1. Agreement and eligibility
These terms apply to the TradeSnap AI app for iPhone, iPad and Android, its account service and related support, operated by Lyth Hishmeh, trading as Fun Lion Studios. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms and the Privacy policy.
You must be at least 18 and able to enter into this agreement. If you use TradeSnap AI for a business, you confirm that you have authority to bind it.
Apple’s Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement also applies to the app on iPhone and iPad, and Google Play’s terms apply to downloads from Google Play. Where these terms conflict with mandatory store terms, the store terms take priority.
2. What TradeSnap AI provides
TradeSnap AI provides tools to capture job information, create editable Job Briefs and draft quotes, keep pricing information and agreed prices, record visits, raise quotes and invoices — including invoices for unquoted work with Bill Work — record payments, share quotes with customers, manage follow-ups and invite other tradespeople.
The service uses the TradeSnap AI account service, storage on your device and selected providers. Some features need an internet connection, an account or an available AI provider.
It is offered on a free plan and a paid subscription, TradeSnap Pro. See Plans, subscriptions and billing.
3. Accounts and security
- Give accurate account information and keep it reasonably up to date.
- Use a strong password and protect access to your device and account.
- Do not share your sign-in details or let anyone else use your account.
- Tell support promptly if you suspect someone else has used it.
You are responsible for activity on your account unless it results from our failure to use reasonable security.
4. AI assistance and professional review
TradeSnap AI produces drafts and suggestions, not professional, safety, legal, tax or accounting advice.
AI output may be incomplete, inaccurate or unsuitable. Before relying on or sending anything, check:
- customer identity, address and contact details;
- scope, exclusions, assumptions and safety information;
- measurements, materials, availability and technical requirements;
- line items, quantities, rates, agreed prices, price ranges, VAT and totals;
- invoice lines, amount paid, balance and due date; and
- licensing, building, consumer, trade and other legal requirements.
You remain responsible for your professional judgement, site safety, the work you do, the prices you agree and every document you send to customers.
5. Your content and customer information
You keep ownership of the information and files you provide. You give Lyth Hishmeh, trading as Fun Lion Studios, and our providers a limited right to host, transmit, process and copy that content only as needed to provide, secure and support TradeSnap AI.
You confirm that you have the rights and lawful basis to enter, upload and process your content, including customer conversations, contact details, addresses, screenshots, recordings and job information. Do not submit content that is unlawful, unrelated to the job, or beyond what you are entitled to use.
Ordinary job photos are records and are never sent to AI. Conversation screenshots and voice notes are processed only when you add them as evidence and ask for an AI feature.
6. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use TradeSnap AI for unlawful, fraudulent, harmful or deceptive activity;
- try to access another user’s account or data;
- probe, disrupt, overload, reverse engineer or bypass security controls, except where the law expressly allows;
- upload malware or content that infringes another person’s rights;
- use automated means to scrape or abuse the service, including invite codes; or
- present an unreviewed AI output as a guaranteed technical assessment.
7. Quotes, invoices and pricing
TradeSnap AI helps you format and calculate business documents. It is not a payment processor, debt-collection service, accountant or tax adviser. You are responsible for agreeing scope and price with customers, applying the right VAT treatment, keeping the records the law requires, and confirming payments.
Historical, shared, AI-suggested, supplier or internet-sourced prices are for information. They may be out of date, incomplete or unsuitable for a particular job. Confirm current rates, availability, specification, delivery and taxes before using them.
Agreed prices
Where your evidence shows a price you agreed with the customer, TradeSnap AI may carry it into the quote as an agreed price instead of estimating one. Check that it matches what was actually agreed before you send the quote.
Bill Work invoices
Bill Work drafts an invoice from what you say or type about work that was never quoted. It does not estimate prices: a charge you did not state is left blank. Check every line, amount and customer detail before you raise and send the invoice.
Customer quote links
When you share a customer quote link, you are responsible for checking the quote, how long it is valid and who will receive it. The link shows a frozen version of the quote. A customer accepts by entering their name or initials and confirming their agreement to that quote; TradeSnap AI records the digital signature, the time and the version shown. You remain responsible for the quote, the customer relationship and any consumer, trade or record-keeping rules that apply to your work.
8. Plans, subscriptions and billing
TradeSnap AI has a free plan and a paid subscription, TradeSnap Pro. The free plan covers the whole job — capture it, brief it, quote it, invoice it and record payment — within set allowances. TradeSnap Pro removes those allowances and adds market rate comparison and unbranded quote and invoice PDFs.
The allowances for each plan are shown in the app, on the upgrade screen and in Settings, and the app gets them from the service, so what you are shown is what applies. We may change plan allowances or what each plan includes; a change that reduces what a paid plan provides takes effect for you at your next renewal, not during a period you have already paid for.
How billing works
- TradeSnap Pro is sold as an auto-renewing subscription through the App Store. Apple takes the payment, not us. We never receive or hold your payment details.
- Prices, introductory or promotional offers, offer codes, currency and taxes are those shown by the App Store for your country when you buy. An introductory offer applies once per subscription group and is set in the App Store, not in the app.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- Manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple account’s subscription settings, which the app links to from Settings. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not shorten a period already paid for.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its terms. We cannot issue, approve or refuse an App Store refund. If Apple tells us a subscription has been refunded or revoked, Pro access ends straight away.
When Pro ends
If a subscription lapses, is cancelled or is refunded, the account returns to the free plan at the end of the period it covers. Nothing you have created is deleted. Your jobs, quotes, invoices, saved rates, files and history stay readable and editable. Free-plan allowances apply again to new work — if you already hold more active jobs or saved rates than the free plan includes, you keep them all, but you will be asked to finish, archive or remove some before starting more.
We may also give Pro access without a purchase — for testing, support, referral rewards or goodwill. Complimentary access is recorded as such and can be time-limited; access given for support or goodwill can be withdrawn.
Referrals
- Every account has its own invite code. A new account can give a code when signing up, or add one within 14 days of signing up and before it has ever subscribed. You cannot use your own code, and an account can be credited to only one code.
- When an account that signed up with your code has made two paid monthly subscription payments, or one paid yearly payment, you earn one free month of Pro. Free trial periods, refunded or revoked payments, and test or sandbox purchases do not count. You can earn up to 12 free months in any 12-month period.
- If you subscribe through the App Store, a free month is an App Store promotional offer that you claim in the app, and Apple applies it to your subscription under its terms. Otherwise it is added to your account as 30 days of complimentary Pro. A free month that cannot be claimed straight away stays saved on your account until it can.
- An invited account may be offered a welcome discount, such as an App Store offer code. Any such offer is shown in the app before you redeem it, is provided under Apple’s terms, and standard pricing applies when it ends.
- Rewards have no cash value and cannot be transferred, exchanged or sold. Do not share codes through spam or misleading claims, or use them with accounts you create or control yourself.
- We may withhold, reverse or remove rewards and codes connected with fraud, abuse, self-referral or a breach of these terms, and we may change or end the referral programme at any time. A change does not take back a reward you have already earned, including a free month saved on your account and not yet claimed, unless it was obtained improperly.
9. Availability and changes
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee it will always be available or free of errors. Features may be changed, suspended or withdrawn for maintenance, security, provider availability, legal compliance or product development.
When you are signed in, attachments you add are uploaded to cloud storage and a copy is kept on your device. The account service, the storage provider and other providers can each be unavailable during connection or provider failures. You are responsible for keeping any business records or backups your work requires.
10. Disclaimers and liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
As far as the law allows, Lyth Hishmeh, trading as Fun Lion Studios, is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of business or lost opportunity, or for loss arising from unreviewed AI output, incorrect input, customer disputes, trade work, tax treatment, provider failures or failure to keep required records.
TradeSnap AI is provided “as available”. Your statutory rights are not affected.
11. Suspension, deletion and termination
You may stop using the app at any time and may delete your account in the app. We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary because of security, unlawful use, a serious breach, provider requirements or risk to other users.
Account deletion and what happens to your data are described in the Privacy policy and on Delete your account. Terms that by their nature should survive the end of this agreement, including ownership, disclaimers and liability limits, continue to apply.
12. Changes, law and contact
We update these terms when the service or the law changes. Material changes are shown by a new effective date and, where appropriate, notice in the app.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protections where you live. Courts with jurisdiction under applicable law may hear disputes.
Questions about these terms can be sent to support@tradesnap-ai.com.
